Vitamin K is necessary for smooth blood clotting  and for bone health , as an activator of osteocalcin. Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and the maintenance of normal bones. 

There are several forms of vitamin K, the most important being vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) and vitamin K2 (menaquinone, MK). Vitamin K1 is obtained from plant foods, while K2 is obtained from animal foods.

Especially for vitamin K2 in the form of MK-7 (menaquinone-7) contained in the food supplement Solgar, studies have shown its positive effect on the health of the arteries, since this has the potential to limit calcium deposits on their walls, promoting elasticity and reducing their hardening.

Solgar's K2 is naturally derived from Natto (fermented soybean extract), which is considered the richest source of K2 in the MK-7 form.

1 capsule daily to be taken preferably with meals.
The parallel intake of anticoagulant drugs is contraindicated, due to competition in their action. Also, antibiotic drugs may reduce the levels of Vitamin K in the body, due to destruction of the intestinal flora.
Taking Vitamin K in very high doses may cause cyanosis, hypotension, dizziness and itching.

Store the product in a dry, cool environment up to 25°C (77°F), and protect from light. 
Improper storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity and storage in freezing conditions may cause deterioration of the product.
