Solgar Acetyl L-Carnitine 250 mg x 30 Capsules - Supports Brain Health

The food supplement Solgar Acetyl-L-Carnitine contains the acetyl form of carnitine which helps to improve brain and mental functions as well as short-term memory as it has the property of penetrating the brain barrier.

It offers mental alertness and concentration and is helpful in cases of elderly people. Ideal for elderly people and people with senile dementia and people who wish to enhance their mental functions.*

More generally, carnitine is an amino acid that helps convert fatty acids into energy. It lowers the levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood, while improving the ratio between HDL and LDL cholesterol. It is necessary for the transport of fatty acids to the mitochondria, in order to produce energy. Useful for cardiovascular health, weight loss, muscle weakness and increasing aerobic endurance.*

Furthermore, it also transports the toxic compounds created within the mitochondria, out of these cell organelles, to prevent their accumulation. *

Acetyl-L-Carnitine (HCl) (Free Form) 250 mg

1 capsule daily to be taken with water between meals.

Not to be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and by people suffering from phenylketonuria.

Does not contain lactose and gluten.

Contains phenylalanine.

Store the product in a dry, cool environment up to 25°C (77°F), and protect from light. Improper storage conditions, such as prolonged exposure to sunlight, high temperature, humidity and storage in freezing conditions may cause deterioration of the product.
